UK organisations at risk of prosecution for criminal offences committed by senior managers in new law
The Crime and Policing Act will come into force at the end of this month, widening the scope of criminal corporate liability, leaving organisations open to prosecution.
Petroleum company fined £1 million for major gas leak
A gas leak occurred when a large steel tower partially collapsed.
The investigation by the Health and Safety Executive found that the collapse was the result of corrosion.


CMA open investigation into a national airline for charging parents to sit with children
The Competition and Markets Authority is looking into airline Ryanair over additional charges for parents to sit with their children, despite their T&Cs specifying that at least one parent must sit with children aged 2-11.
