At the heart of our business, a conscience
We know we can help the communities around us and are committed to doing just that.
Every year, our people nominate a charity to receive our support and then get involved in a load of fundraising events. A few of the charities we’re happy to have helped are KidsOut, Candlelighters, Bradford Marie Curie Hospice, The Ear Trust, Physcap, The Friends of Alfie Martin.
This year our charity partner is Centrepoint Bradford.
“There a lots of reasons why young people in Bradford find themselves homeless. These include family breakdown, mental health problems and being unable to cope with living independently.
In 2016/17, 6,300 young people across Yorkshire and the Humber approached their local authority because they were homeless or at risk.
Centrepoint Bradford help young people leave homelessness behind for good.
From getting young people off the street to giving them employment and training opportunities, we give homeless young people in Bradford a future.”
We also join in with community initiatives to help local businesses including Bradford Chamber of Commerce, Be Involved, Leeds Legal and Local Business Accelerators.
Many of our people join forces with charities and clients to make a positive impact in the community, be it tidying the gardens at the Marie Curie Hospice or stacking shelves at Morrisons. If we think we can help, we will.
