Waste company fined £400,000 after employee suffered life changing injuries

An HSE investigation found that the company had failed to properly manage vehicle and pedestrian movements on site.

The ASA investigated a product listing on the retailer’s website which advertised one price against a struck-through RRP price and included a further claim of “UP TO 50% OFF”.

Two companies and an individual prosecuted following death of worker in trench collapse

Work taking place on replacing a damaged pipe resulted in the collapse of a trench and an employee being buried under two tonnes of soil.
