Symington’s Chief Executive reveals secrets of success at Gordons food & drink entrepreneneurs event

Yorkshire food and drink entrepreneurs were given unique insights into the international success of Symington’s, the Leeds convenience food business which has seen its turnover quadruple from £48m to £200m in just six years.

The company’s chief executive, David Salkeld, and business development director, Henrik Pade, shared their experiences from this extraordinary period of growth at a special breakfast event hosted by Yorkshire law firm Gordons.

Attended by 20 food and drink business owners and managers, subjects covered included new product development and fostering key relationships with customers and suppliers.
