All of us at Gordons LLP are very sorry to hear of the death of Sir Ken Morrison CBE.
I have known and worked with Sir Ken for more than 30 years and Gordons LLP has advised him and Morrisons for more than 50 years.
It has been a wonderful privilege to have known Sir Ken and to have seen the inspirational success that came from his retailing genius and relentless focus on consistently giving what his customers what they wanted.
He was always a genuine pleasure to deal with. Like many in Bradford and the region, we all owe a huge debt of gratitude to Sir Ken.
We will certainly miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
