One for the Holiday season

I’m sure we all have colleagues and contacts who we call names like “Judith Chalmers” or “non-dom tax cheat” because of all the holidays they seem to take whilst we toil away at work. Attitudes of absent or soon to be absent colleagues vary considerably towards the work/holiday interface. Whatever the wrong or the right approach, holidays are essential (remember the Working Time Regs? oh yes!) and they are a contractual right. It’s always a shame, I think, to surround them with too many rules and regulations internally.
