Gordons solicitor appointed new president of Leeds Law Society

Leeds Law Society has selected Catherine Woodward, a commercial litigation solicitor at Gordons as its new president.

Catherine has held a number of roles during her time with Leeds Law Society, including treasurer and secretary and most recently as vice president.

Catherine joined Gordons in 2011 where she trained and qualified.  Her extensive litigation experience includes intellectual property, banking litigation, contractual disputes, professional negligence and partnership disputes.

Commenting on her appointment, Catherine said: “I’m truly honoured to become president of one of the most prestigious law societies in the country.  This role provides me the opportunity to focus on the importance of professional networks in the law and the increasing recognition of the importance of diversity and inclusion within the profession.”
