Frances Mitchell wins ‘Rising Star’ accolade at the Yorkshire Legal Awards

Gordons’ commercial litigation solicitor Frances Mitchell has been named as a ‘Rising Star’ of the profession at the Yorkshire Legal Awards.

Frances was awarded the accolade in recognition of her work in high-profile cases along with her dedication to discovering and nurturing new talent within the industry, thanks to her involvement in interviewing potential trainees and apprentices and mentoring those in her team.

Commenting on the award, Frances said: “I am very happy to have won the ‘Rising Star’ award.  I feel privileged to be part of a very talented team and to be working in a supportive environment where I have been able to develop as a professional.”

Frances joined the firm in 2003 as a paralegal and was subsequently offered a training contract, and has risen through the firm to become a valued member of the firm. Frances is a member of Gordons’ Future Leaders Programme, which was created to assist professionals with the potential to achieve partnership in the firm develop the relevant business and leadership skills.
