Strong Performance at Yorkshire Law Firm Gordons

Yorkshire law firm Gordons has increased net profits by 25 per cent to more than £6m on a turnover of £16m following continued successful implementation of its business development strategy.

For the year ended 31 March 2018, Gordons’ turnover increased by four per cent to £16m whilst the firm’s cash position doubled from £1.6m to £3.2m.

Over the 12-month period, Gordons secured a variety of significant new business wins including online electrical goods retailer AO.com and discount convenience grocery brand Heron Foods. The year also saw significant increased investments in people, office improvements and IT.

Gordons managing partner, Paul Ayre, commented: “We’re really pleased with our progress in the past year which shows the strength of the Gordons brand and business. This sees us having much more dialogue with existing clients and talking to prospective clients who identify with our straightforward, quality approach.
