Wayne Parker, Head of Gordons LLP's Business Recovery and Restructuring team with Claire Evans, Solicitor

Leeds and Bradford law firm Gordons has strengthened its business recovery and restructuring practice with the appointment of solicitor Claire Evans, formerly of Walker Morris.

Claire’s new role will see her working with partner and head of insolvency, Wayne Parker, to assist in setting up a specialist department and building the firm’s turnaround and restructuring service. London-born Claire joins Gordons with 12 years’ experience in the insolvency team at Walker Morris, where she trained and qualified.

Commenting on her appointment, Claire said: “I’m very happy to join the team here at Gordons. It’s a great firm to work for and even in these early stages of the department’s development we already have a substantial amount of work both from within the firm and from external clients.

“This new department will really add to the breadth and depth of Gordons’ service offering and I’m very pleased to be a part of it.”
