Yorkshire law firm Gordons is only practice outside London shortlisted for prestigious national private client award

Yorkshire law firm Gordons is the only practice outside London to be shortlisted in the contentious trust and estates team of the year category at the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Private Client Awards.

The firm’s contentious will, trusts and probate department – which comprises two partners, three solicitors and a trainee solicitor. The team has grown to be one of the largest outside London and one of the most highly respected operating outside the capital.

The prestigious awards are judged by senior representatives from the private client sector who are supported by a panel of experts which represent internationally renowned lawyers, accountants, barristers and trust companies.

The other shortlisted firms in the category are Boodle Hatfield, Farrer & Co, Taylor Wessing and Withers. Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony being held on September 15 at the London Hilton on Park Lane Hotel.
