Supermarket Apologises for Breaking Pricing Rules
Thursday 11th December 2025
Supermarket Asda has issued an apology after failing to include legally required information on the pricing labels of products.
Retailers are required by the Price Marking Order 2004 to display unit prices for products to assist consumers in comparing value between products. However, Asda failed to display these on products such as: Weetabix, dishwasher tablets, cotton buds, and tumble dryer sheets.
Asda have apologised and have stated that they will amend any incorrectly labelled product as soon as practicable.
