Separation of Waste (England) Regulations 2024 apply

Businesses with over 10 full-time employees must comply and present their waste in separate streams from 31 March 2025. The waste should be presented as: dry recyclable materials separated into paper and card and other dry recyclables (glass, metal, plastic); food waste including food leftovers and waste generated by preparing; black bin waste. If these requirements are not complied with by 31 March 2025, there is a risk of compliance notice being issued by the Environment Agency to the company responsible for the waste.
