Resubmission deadline of 1 September 2026 introduced for 2025 packaging data

PackUK will introduce a resubmission deadline of 1 September 2026 which will apply to 2025 packaging data submissions from manufacturers paying Packaging Extended Producer Responsibility fees to cover recycling costs of household packaging.

The deadline gives manufacturers five months from 1 April reporting deadline to make any required changes and resubmit their packaging data.

PackUK will use regulator compliance monitoring to publish producer fees for 26/27 and issue Notices of Liability.

Following 1 September, further data resubmissions will be disregarded. Producers will still have 50 days to pay and can pay the amount in instalments if preferred.

If any corrections are needed, manufacturers should resubmit their 2025 packaging data by 1 September 2026.
