Operator’s licence revoked from company after serious failures

Friday 15th May 2026

The company, which held a restricted goods vehicle operator’s licence for one vehicle, appeared before the Deputy Traffic Commissioner after the DVSA highlighted concerns over maintenance of the vehicle record keeping, and compliance with the licence.

The Deputy Traffic Commissioner came to the conclusion that the operator was no longer fit to hold an operator’s licence as a result of the vehicle not receiving safety inspections at the times required, driver defect reporting not being sufficient, lack of tyre and wheel management, and the company failing to provide vehicle records to the DVSA when requested.
