Non-approved health claim drink label complaint upheld by ASA

The drink company’s website claimed its product could prevent or cure diseases and made unauthorised general and specific nutrition and health claims. ASA upheld that these statements were misleading as they lacked robust scientific evidence and fell outside permitted health claims on the GB Nutrition and Health Claims Register.
