HSE prosecutes chemical company after worker suffered burns

A chemical company pleaded guilty to breaching s.2(1) Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and was fined £100,000 after an employee suffered thermal burns from a steam hose. HSE stated that the task did not have suitable risk assessment, safe system of work, training or supervision.
