Thursday 20th November 2014

Some of the region’s most successful family business entrepreneurs spoke at a high-profile event organised by Yorkshire law firm Gordons.

John Tordoff, chief executive of JCT600, John Ridings, a non-executive director at NG Bailey; Jonathan Turner, chief executive of the Bayford Group; and Mark Roberts, the former chief executive of Andrew Page, addressed the seminar, entitled Future Proofing Family Businesses, which considered some of the issues facing family businesses and how to protect value for future generations.

Senior representatives of family businesses across the region attended the event and had the opportunity to ask questions, join in debate, share experiences, and network with other attendees.

The event was an opportunity to unveil the findings of a specially commissioned research project looking at the opportunities and challenges that face family business both today and in the future.
