Lauren is a solicitor in the disputes team.

Lauren advises businesses from all sectors in respect of shareholder, company and insurance related disputes, and acts for the Solicitors Regulation Authority in disputes concerning solicitors’ practice/conduct.

Lauren has particular expertise in the Food and Drink sector and acts for retailers and suppliers in breach of contract disputes and provides advice on supply and purchase agreements. Lauren also trains and advises the largest retailers and suppliers in the UK on the Groceries Supply Code of Practice (‘GSCOP’).

Recent work includes:

  • Acting for a supplier in the first and only High Court claim relating to GSCOP and delisting;
  • Advising a supplier on a £30m GSCOP delisting dispute;
  • Advising retailers on their designation under Groceries (Supply Chain Practices) Market Investigation Order;
  • Acting for two of the 14 largest grocery retailers on a retained basis; and
  • Providing GSCOP training to the largest suppliers and retailers in the UK.
