Yorkshire law firm Gordons is flying even higher after securing instructions from Saudi Arabian Airlines to complete the last in a series of major lettings of its six-storey UK headquarters in Victoria, London.

Gordons has just been appointed to let the 3,450 square foot second storey, the last vacant floor of the Victoria Street building, to retail software specialists the ITIM Group on a 10-year lease at a rent of £44 per square foot.

These new instructions complete a letting programme that has already seen Gordons’ commercial property team, advise the airline on the lettings of three other floors of this building. This followed a decision by Saudi Arabian Airlines to reduce the number of floors in the building that it occupied itself.

The completed leases have been granted to: Pret-A-Manger, who now occupy the ground floor and part of the first floor; Hays Recruitment, who occupy the first floor; and, most recently, Vallar Investments who have taken a tenancy of the third storey of the building. The last of these leases was completed in July and comprised another 10-year lease at a rent of over £150,000 per annum.

Rabi Abdul Motaleb manager of Saudi Arabian Airlines’ London office commented: “We had no hesitation in instructing Ben on our current programme of disposals at our London headquarters. He has guided us through the process smoothly and efficiently. In particular, his speed of response and ability to anticipate our requirements has been of great assistance to us.”
