A Leeds-based property consultancy was advised by Yorkshire law firm Gordons on its sale to Atisreal, one of Europe’s leading real estate property companies.

Hill Woolhouse – which employs 13 staff and has an annual turnover of £2.5m – was bought by Atisreal as part of the company’s ambitious growth strategy. The company specialises in office agency, investment and out of town retail.

Gordons’ corporate partner Peter Barton and associate solicitor Jonathan Asquez advised the Hill Woodhouse management team throughout the sale, ensuring that the deal was completed efficiently and effectively.

Roger Woolhouse, one of Hill Woolhouse’s founders, said: “Joining forces with Atisreal will enable us to offer a wider range of expertise to our clients across the northern region. I am excited about the opportunity to lead the team in Leeds and we are all extremely enthusiastic about our plans for further development of the office”.

Mr Woolhouse will stay on as head of office in Leeds leading a management team consisting of other founding members Charles Hill and Richard Dunhill and also Stephen Macey, who has been acting office head for Atisreal for the last 12 months.

Peter Barton commented: “This is a great deal for both parties because it provides them with a platform for combined growth, particularly in the West Yorkshire market. Atisreal is an ambitious business and I am sure that the company’s acquisition of Hill Woolhouse will create a series of new and exciting commercial opportunities.”
