FirstGroup loses ScotRail franchise to Abellio 8

Sky News has reported today that FirstGroup has lost its renewal bid for the ScotRail franchise.
The company will continue to operate ScotRail until 1 April 2015 when Abellio will take over.
The contract is worth £2.5 billion.
