TOPIC OF DISCUSSION

Like it or not, social media is here to stay. The benefits for companies, if it is used correctly can be massive but it also brings a unique set of problems. Employees who write Facebook posts, LinkedIn updates and Twitter tweets which are discriminatory, bullying and/or potentially damaging to the employer’s reputation can be dealt with by way of disciplinary action, irrespective of whether they are written whilst the employee is at work. It is akin to graffiti on a wall which can be seen by the world. This session discusses how you can protect your business from employees using social media irresponsibly.
