Vital elements of the investigation process tend to be missed by employers leading to uncertainty in the defence of claims. There should be no reason for employers to be in much doubt if the investigation is a reasonable one. This course is designed to ensure that individuals are trained to the correct level to provide a reasonably thorough investigation to form the basis of sound disciplinary decisions in every case with confidence. The course includes : how to comply with the ACAS code, employer/employee obligations, collecting and assessing evidence, conducting effective witness interviews, what information should be provided and when, and how to deal with the outcome of investigations.
