Crowded Train Stations

According to recent statistics from the Office of Rail Regulation, the number of passengers using the UK’s rail network is growing fast with some stations reporting an increase in passenger numbers by almost 10% between April 2013 and April 2014.
Unsurprisingly, with over 98 million passengers, London Waterloo was crowned the busiest station, although London Euston had the biggest increase in passenger numbers at 9.4%.
Whilst both Leeds and Birmingham New Street stations were in the top ten, with the current reduction in the price of petrol, it will be interesting to see if they remain there next year. Watch this space…
