Allen & Allen Legal Limited – SRA Intervention

On 19 December 2025 the Solicitors Regulation Authority (‘SRA’) intervened into the practice of Allen & Allen Legal Limited formerly of Hub 26, Hunsworth Lake, Cleckheaton, BD19 4DH (‘Allen & Allen’).
What does this mean?
If you were a client of Allen & Allen, they can no longer act for you. You will need to find a new solicitor to act. Gordons are not acting for you. If you need help finding a new solicitor you can search for a new solicitor on the Law Society’s Find a Solicitor site, or you can call the Law Society on 020 7320 5650 Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00.
What about my documents?
We have not recovered any files or documents previously held by Allen & Allen.
Allen & Allen were holding money for me. What should I do?
If you believe Allen & Allen were holding money for you, you may be able to apply to the SRA Compensation Fund. As it is a discretionary fund, applications are considered using the criteria set out in their rules.
