Gordons named Yorkshire and Humber’s most active legal adviser in Q1 2026

Gordons has been named the most active legal adviser in Yorkshire and the Humber for the first quarter of 2026, according to the latest M&A report from Experian MarketIQ.
The report tracks M&A activity across the UK and produces regional advisor league tables, drawing on a database that combines global M&A data with Companies House records.
It found that Gordons advised on 12 deals in the first quarter, placing the firm well ahead of the field, with the next most active adviser recording five deals.
The recognition follows a record quarter for the corporate team, which advised on 37 transactions that exchanged or completed in Q4 2025.
Those deals represented a combined value exceeding £675 million, with many involving overseas acquirers from the USA, Canada, France and Sweden.
