Product Regulatory and Metrology Bill passes into law

On 21 July 2025, the Product Regulatory and Metrology Bill received Royal Assent to make it into an Act of Parliament. The new Act is an enabling law which means its primary purpose is to make it easier for the UK Government to make secondary legislation to address new and emerging product safety risks.
