
The School (Allergy Safety) Bill introduced to Parliament

The proposed legislation would introduce additional safeguards and practical steps for schools to improve the safety of children with potential allergies. Requirements would include:
- Maintain a mandatory spare supply of allergy injector pens (e.g., EpiPens) in the school at all times.
- Ensure all staff receive adequate training to manage and respond to allergy emergencies.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive school allergy policy.
