
CMA 3-month enforcement update on DMCCA

On 10 July, the CMA published an update on their priorities in enforcing the consumer protection provisions in the DMCCA following its introduction into law in April 2025. From September, the CMA will be focusing on:
- Capturing evidence of egregious conduct; and
- Issuing information notices to gather evidence.
It will also publish more information on its investigation process, and update its results on reviewing platforms for identifying fake reviews.
