CMA publish new rules on direct enforcement

From 6 April 2025, under its new direct enforcement regime and as outlined in its finalised guidance on 4 April, the CMA can directly investigate and fine businesses which infringe the new rules up to 10% of global turnover, without recourse to a formal prosecution in the courts.
