Chartered Legal ExecutiveEleanor is a Chartered Legal Executive specialising in Property Litigation across both commercial and residential spheres. Eleanor has experience advising a range of clients on various property disputes including commercial lease renewals, termination of leases, nuisance, freehold covenants and neighbour disputes. Eleanor adopts a down to earth and commercially focused approach to problem solving across all her practice areas.
Eleanor’s recent work includes:
- Settling a high profile water ingress claim relating to a commercial property in London;
- Attending trial as the leading legal representative on behalf of a client applying to modify a restrictive covenant;
- Managing lease renewal portfolios for several major high street clients including Card Factory, Heron Foods Limited and Yorkshire Building Society;
- Advising a range of both landlord and tenant clients in relation to break options included in commercial leases;
- Attending mediation on behalf of a commercial landlord client regarding commercial arrears and various lease breaches; and
- Delivering training on break options and alienation to property professionals.
Eleanor is a member of the Gordons’ charity committee and regularly helps organise events for the firm’s chosen charity of the year. Eleanor also enjoys attending external networking events to continue making valuable business connections with other professionals both in the legal sector and in other sectors.
