Claire is a solicitor in Gordons’ Personal Law Department and is involved in all aspects of private client work. Claire regularly advises elderly clients on planning for their future and deals with the preparation of Lasting Powers of Attorney, for both personal and business use, and Court of Protection Applications.
Claire specialises in the administration and day to day management of Deputyship Orders and Powers of Attorney.
Claire has assisted with cases concerning the financial abuse of vulnerable adults including cases brought before the Court of Protection. She provides advice to attorneys, family members and other professionals in relation to safeguarding someone else’s assets and spotting signs of financial abuse.
