Profile

Louise Tatton is a Solicitor in Gordons' contentious trust and estates department.

She joined the firm as a Trainee Solicitor in 2008 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2010.

Louise works solely in this specialised area of law and deals with all aspects of contentious work including claims involving disappointed beneficiaries, claims concerning the validity or otherwise of wills and actions involving trusts and trustees.

She regularly advises clients referred by accountants, banks, wealth advisors, charities and other law firms who lack experience to deal with such work.

Recent cases Louise has been involved in include challenges by disappointed beneficiaries under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 and challenges to the validity of wills based on lack of knowledge and/or approval, lack of mental capacity, undue influence, fraud and forgery.
