Joanne Houseman is a Solicitor in Gordons employment law department.

Joanne provides practical and strategic advice to HR professionals on all aspects of employment law from the variation of contractual terms and redundancies to day to day matters including disciplinary proceedings and family friendly rights.

Joanne regularly acts on behalf of respondents successfully defending tribunal claims, including unfair dismissal, discrimination and equal pay.  She has a particular interest in the law relating to discrimination and is currently defending claims of disability, race and age discrimination.

Joanne also works alongside our corporate team providing strategic and commercial advice on the employment aspects of business sales and acquisitions including the effects of TUPE and handling executive severances.
