Jayne Smiles is a solicitor in Gordons' construction department.

Having joined Gordons in 2006, Jayne has 8 years post qualification experience specialising in all aspects of non-contentious construction and engineering law and has provided procurement advice on a wide range of development, refurbishment, and engineering projects in the industrial, commercial, education, retail, and residential fields.

In addition to drafting and negotiating all forms of contracts and appointments, Jayne has particular experience of advising funders on construction security relating to a loan agreements; and the purchasers and tenants of property on the construction security available to best protect their liabilities.

Jayne acts for clients in all areas of a construction project; developers, funders, contractors, consultants and specialist sub-contractors.
