Martin Hasyn is a Partner in Gordons' private client department.

Martin specialises in advising business owners, entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals in all aspects of tax and succession planning, will drafting and inheritance tax.

He also has considerable experience in the administration of high value and complex estates and has acted in a number of estates which have involved complex business assets, overseas issues (both UK and overseas domicile) and Estates with agricultural and property portfolio's. Martin regularly assists the contentious trusts, wills and probate team on estate administration issues and in dealing with the administration of those estates in dispute.

Martin also advises trustees on their duties and responsibilities, particularly in relation to the Trustee Act 2000, and in dealing with the administration of trusts as well as acting as trustee and attorney for a number of clients.

Martin qualified in 1997, is a member of The Law Society Probate Section and is studying for STEP membership via the qualified practitioner route. Martin is also a founding member of specialist Leeds based networking group “HUB LS1”, a knowledge sharing group for senior private client advisors in the region.
