John Hall is a Senior Partner in Gordons employment law and regulatory departments.

John specialises in employment work and regulatory matters including licensing, health & safety and food safety/trading standards issues. He is very well regarded for his concise, considered advice and is an expert advocate appearing in the Employment Tribunal and CAC.

John's specific experience lies in dealing with major re-structures, redundancies and changes in terms and conditions, as well as advising on all disciplinary and grievance procedures. John is a recognised expert on the effects of TUPE 2006 and has advised on major transfer exercises.

John regularly advises Local Authorities in relation to part-time pensions cases.  John is also the lead contact for regulatory work on behalf of Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc as well as advising other major manufacturers and employers. He advises clients in relation to serious health and safety investigations, formal interviews, prosecutions as well as representation at inquests.

John regularly speaks at national and major regional training events and regularly provides in house training on current issues and legislation in disciplinary and grievance procedures.
