He advises on the full range of corporate matters and specialises in mergers and acquisitions, arrangements between shareholders, group reorganisations and company law and compliance.
Duncan is described in the Chambers and Partners (2016) as “efficient, effective and pleasant to deal with”.
Duncan’s recent highlights include:
- advising the shareholders on the disposal of Corrosion Resistant Products, a specialist manufacturer based in Rochdale, to Swedish group Indutrade AB
- lead adviser to the Bradford Chamber of Commerce on its merger with Leeds, York and North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce
- advising the shareholders on the reverse takeover of the Westex Carpets group by Victoria PLC for an initial consideration of £16m
- advising the Skipton based Trio Healthcare group on the disposal of one of its subsidiary companies to US healthcare group, ConvaTec
