Tim Ratcliffe, Partner

Tim Ratcliffe is a Partner in Gordons' corporate department.

Tim is well known in the Bradford commercial scene, and across West Yorkshire. He specialises in mergers and acquisitions and general corporate and commercial advice to a wide range of clients, particularly in the owner-managed and family-owned and professional sectors, including subsidiaries of international groups.

Amongst his clients are Emerald Group Publishing, national haulage company Reed Boardall and the fulfilment and contract packaging group Mailway.

Tim has recently advised MCB Group Ltd on a share restructure including purchase of own shares and tax considerations, and Reed Boardall Group Ltd on a share restructure including new group holding company  with tax  issues.  He also acted for the partners of Drydens, the solicitors practice specialising in debt recovery and repossession for financial institutions, in the sale of their business.

Tim is legal advisor to, and past board member of, the Bradford Chamber of Commerce as well as a member of the First Tier Tax Tribunal.  He was awarded an MBE in the 2004 New Years Honours for his services to community relations in Bradford.
