John Owen, Partner

John Owen is a partner in Gordons' regulation, risk and compliance department.

John undertakes regulatory work principally on behalf of the Solicitors Regulation Authority ('SRA'), acting as an agent for the SRA in relation to interventions into solicitors' practices. He also investigates allegations of professional misconduct on behalf of the SRA.

John is a Panel Solicitor for the SRA and in this role investigates complex or sensitive reports of solicitors' professional misconduct and also complaints of inadequate professional service.

John has advised solicitors on issues relating to the professional service they give their clients. He has also undertaken work on behalf of the Serious Organised Crime Agency and regional police authorities.
