Leeds and Bradford law firm Gordons has promoted four of its partners to junior equity partner in recognition of the important roles they have played in the firm’s ongoing growth and development.
The newly promoted lawyers are Barbara Rollin, head of commercial property; Janine Eaglesfield, also in the firm’s commercial property department; Frances Davies, head of personal law and Martin Holdsworth, head of contentious wills, trusts and probate.
Gordons managing partner, Paul Ayre, commented: “Junior equity partner is a recently created position within the firm which enables us to identify and recognise those people with the potential to reach full equity partner. It is a role that will introduce them to the strategic running of the business and involve them in a greater level of decision making.
“All four have all proven themselves to be excellent lawyers with strong leadership skills and the ability to build strong client relationships. They are all the type of person that we believe can drive the firm forwards given the opportunity and this new role will allow them to do that to a greater degree.”
