The Ear Trust
Our charity for 2008 will be The Ear Trust's appeal for the new Yorkshire Listening for Life Centre in Bradford. The aim of the Trust is to raise funds to construct a new specialist Centre in the grounds of the Bradford Royal Infirmary.

This Centre will enable the Trust to expand and continue the pioneering work started 17 years ago, at The Yorkshire Cochlear Implant unit, assessing and treating hundreds of profoundly deaf babies, young children and adults in the North of England. The Centre will serve the whole Yorkshire region, the nearest other facilities being in Nottingham and Newcastle.

The Hope Ball
Gordons is a primary sponsor of the Hope ball, an annual event held at Rudding Park in support of The Eve Appeal, ORFT and HODU, all charities that provide support to women suffering from gynaecological cancers.  The Eve Appeal is the only UK charity dedicated to funding research into all four gynaecological cancers and it supports a world leading programme dedicated to funding research into the early detection, prevention and treatment of ovarian cancer.
