Employee Engagement and Management Restructuring within Hotel
A northern based (absentee) hotel owner detected a problem with management. Due to infrequent direct involvement with the business, it seemed impossible to identify the root causes. We recommended that our HR Consultant should undertake an employee engagement project, ostensibly, to investigate and address apparent low levels of employee engagement. In this way trust was able to be established with all of the staff and the rather serious nature of the problems were identified, ultimately resulting in a wholesale change of management at the hotel. By seamlessly working with our Employment Law team, our Consultant was able to ensure that the entire process was procedurally correct and the resulting action taken was fair and legally appropriate in all the circumstances. The Hotel is now thriving under a new Management Team, both in terms of financials and employee engagement.
