Morrisons – National training programme
Following a competitive tender involving 3 law firms/training providers the employment team at Gordons were successful in being appointed to run a company-wide national training programme for Morrisons.
They wrote and are implementing a national training programme to over 2,500 senior managers across Morrisons. The training relates to policy application and people management with a particular focus on managing performance, conduct and disputes/conflict.
The effect on the areas of Morrisons who have received our training to date is a significant reduction in internal Grievances (68%) Disciplinary Hearings (18%) and Appeals (62%) which Morrisons are confident will start to impact on Tribunal claims. In addition to the tangible benefits, they have also identified anecdotal gains surrounding the colleague experience of the training provided.
