B&M Retail Ltd - store acquisitions

B&M Retail have been established for over 30 years and is now one of the UK’s fastest growing retailers.

We have worked with B&M Retail for approximately ten years.  Joanne Fearnley, heads the team who advise B&M on most of their property transactions.  Throughout the period July 2009 – August 2010 we have dealt with approximately 28 new store acquisitions by way of leases or assignments of existing leases.

B&M Retail is a growing client and has plans for rapid expansion.  The company has grown to 200 stores and now has over 5,000 staff.  They have been opening new commercial property premises at the rate of one a week for the last two years and Gordons have advised on most of these transactions.
