Bradford Lawyer becomes president of city’s Law Society

A commercial property lawyer at Bradford law firm Gordons has been appointed president of the Bradford Law Society.

Whilst maintaining his full-time role, Simon Mydlowski will provide the Society’s members with support and strategic advice. He will also be responsible for liaising with the Society’s members to arrange local training and social events.

Speaking about his appointment, Bradford-born Simon said: “I’m a huge advocate of this city and the strength of the legal services it has to offer. In my new position I work with lawyers across Bradford to raise the profile of the excellent legal work that is done here for clients based locally, nationally and internationally. I would also like to thank the outgoing president, Mr Neil Allerton, for his hard work during his term as president over the last two years.”

The 29-year-old has worked in Bradford for the past six years, having spent the last four of those at Gordons. He currently acts for a wide variety of clients including window company Safestyle UK, restaurant group Akbars and international brewers Coors.
